How the online DUI courses work
Self-paced courses use structured lessons, quizzes and saved progress. Students can return to the course between study sessions and continue where they left off. Self-paced means flexible scheduling; it does not remove required lesson time, quizzes or activities. The structured 12-hour class adds timed, paced lessons for authorities that want a more structured format.
After all course requirements are completed, eligible students receive completion documentation. Follow the requesting authority’s instructions for how and when to submit the certificate.
How out-of-state and California-related transfer language applies
We use “out-of-state DUI transfer course” to describe independent online education for an eligible student whose requesting authority permits this provider, the selected course length, and the course format. A requirement may have originated in Illinois, California or any other state outside Nevada, and the student may now live somewhere else, including Nevada. California transfer courses are not offered to current California residents, and no course or certificate is offered for a Nevada DUI case or Nevada DMV license reinstatement.
The phrase does not mean that 702 DUI School transfers a court case, clears a licensing hold, reinstates a driver’s license, or provides automatic equivalency with a named state program.
What a completion certificate does — and does not — mean
A completion certificate documents the education successfully completed. It is not licensing or certification of the provider and does not, by itself, prove that an outside court, agency or licensing requirement has been satisfied.
Case-specific permission applies to that student’s situation. It is not a general claim that the course is approved by courts, states, motor-vehicle agencies, or licensing authorities.

Which course length should I choose?
Choose the course that matches the exact number of hours on your paperwork: 8, 12, 16, 18, 30 or 60. Course lengths are not automatically interchangeable.
Are the courses entirely online?
Yes. They use online lessons, quizzes and saved progress. Most are fully self-paced; the structured 12-hour class uses timed, paced lessons. All required lesson time and activities still have to be completed.
I live in Nevada but my DUI was in another state. Can I enroll?
Yes, if the other state allows it. For example, if your DUI was in Illinois and Illinois lets you complete the course from Nevada, you can enroll and send your certificate to Illinois. Confirm with that court or agency first.
Can I use these courses for a Nevada DUI case or Nevada DMV reinstatement?
No. We do not issue certificates for Nevada DUI cases, Nevada courts or Nevada DMV license reinstatement. See our Nevada provider notice for more information.
My paperwork lists a Victim Impact Panel too. What should I take?
Choose the 8-hour or 12-hour bundle to finish both in one enrollment, or take the Victim Impact Panel on its own if you have already completed your class.
Can I work on the course late at night or over several days?
Yes. Self-paced study lets you work in separate sessions and return to saved progress. Leave enough time before your deadline to finish the full course.
My paperwork says DWI instead of DUI. Is that okay?
Terminology varies by jurisdiction. Confirm the required hours, provider and delivery format rather than relying on the DUI/DWI label alone.
Will I receive a certificate?
Eligible course and VIP students receive completion documentation after satisfying the applicable requirements. A certificate does not guarantee acceptance by an outside authority.
